Set in 15 acres of beautifully restored Victorian Factories, just a short walk from the Bullring, the iconic Custard Factory is the heart of Birmingham’s buzzing creative quarter. The former HQ of Bird’s Custard (the famous egg-free custard powder) is now a creative hub home to many independent shops, cafes, bars, restaurants – boasting the likes of Golf Fang, the Mockingbird Cinema, 670 Grams, NQ64, Chance & Counters, Passing Fancies, and Crazy Pedro’s.
From the dessert revolution to the digital revolution, the Custard Factory has been at the centre of Birmingham’s history as an innovative, globally competitive city where great ideas take shape and where things are made that change the world.
Reception opening times: Monday – Friday 8.30am to 6pm.
Shop opening times: Check with each individual business – but please note that Monday is traditionally the day off for businesses in Digbeth.
