Moseley Village, as it is known, has a strong identity as a creative place. It combines history with successful independent businesses and active residents to make it a much desired place to visit. There are of course, still the staple names for the big weekly shop. Moseley also hosts one of the best known farmers markets, every fourth Saturday of the month which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2009.

Moseley has a number of community groups that deliver a range of activities including yoga, local history, live music, dance, sports, conservation, horticulture, the arts, inter faith work, and local democracy. Activities take place in a variety of venues, from the Moseley Exchange, Moseley Dance Workshop, Church halls, pub, bars and clubs.

By Bus
Shoppers from surrounding areas as well as further a field are well served by the very frequent 35 and 50 bus routes, and the number 1, 885 and 899.
Cycle Routes
Many Moseley residents choose cycling as a means of getting around the local area. The Village also is one of many designated cycle routes within Birmingham, with this one accessing the University of Birmingham.
By car
Pay and Display parking can be found just off the Alcester Road within the village. There is also on street parking in and around the village.
