Coventry Road

Coventry Road is one of Birmingham’s more culturally diverse shopping centres. In 2004, Coventry Road was ranked as Birmingham’s 8th largest shopping centre and is also home to Birmingham City Football Club, as well as many parks and green spaces including Small Heath Park, which regularly hosts local festivals and fun fairs.

The area between the Birmingham City Football Club and the Small Heath Highway consists mainly of independent retailers offering a range of goods at competitive prices.

The centre is popular for its Asian clothing, particularly its boutiques offering exclusive dresses and party wear.

The Coventry Road boasts an impressive array of cuisines, something to please everyone’s taste buds. The centre is renowned for its Mediterranean & Arab restaurants an attractive alternative to Birmingham’s famous Balti.

59A and 60

 

By Train

A short walk from the Coventry Road is the Small Heath Train Station, which links to the Birmingham to Stratford Line of the London Midland railway system.
