About

What is left for us to hold in common? Our beloved NHS? The Welfare State? Our national history? Our desire for good governance? The natural resources beneath our feet?

In this cost of living crisis, BOLDtext playwrights Liz John, Helen Kelly, Vanessa Oakes and Tim Stimpson ask what we still share - or don't - and how we can all benefit from our national 'wealth'.

BOLDtext is a collective of West Midlands writers dedicated to championing local creative talent. By coming to one of our staged, script-in-hand shows, you'll not only be treated to four invigorating, brand-new short plays; you'll also be supporting the development of artists in the region.

And you can spread the wealth too. Bring along your unwanted Christmas gifts for a present swap after the show!
