BCU Inspired Festival: Family Day

About

Family Day is a free day of fun at Birmingham City University's City Centre Campus. This year, it takes place on Saturday 8 June, 11am-4pm.

Visitors can enjoy a range of activities from creating their very own pendant or keyring, making their mark on our community weave artwork, building a bug hotel or testing their story telling skills in our writing and storyboard workshops.

They can also try their hand at being a radio presenter, take a family portrait on our giant green screen, climb onboard our training ambulance, design their own board game and so much more.

Plus, families with young children can enjoy face painting and a sensory play area.

With dozens of activities on offer, there’s something to suit all ages!

Family Day is part of BCU's Inspired Festival - an annual celebration, showcasing the talent and creativity of our arts, design and media students.

Visitors will be among the first to see this year's student creations - including exhibitions in photography, fashion, product design, art, architecture, English and music.

Activities may be subject to change and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Some activities will require booking on arrival.
