Jewellery Quarter
Forget Hatton Garden. This is the nation’s jewellery heart. 40% of all UK jewellery comes from a jewel in Birmingham’s crown; our unique Jewellery Quarter. Home of more diamond rings, finishing touches and tokens of love than anyway else.
With a growing art scene, galleries, wedding shops and fashion specialists mixed in with restaurants and bars, it’s somewhere all will enjoy. But the place future brides, grooms and engaged couples simply can’t overlook. Particularly with such value.
The Jewellery Quarter and special occasions go hand in hand. Over 100 specialists, with craftsmen and women in-house, make the wedding and engagement rings that commemorate true love throughout the land.
This unique area still makes 40% of all UK jewellery. So it’s the place for THAT present. But at a price to surprise. It’s part of the appeal of going direct.
With many shops having their own workshops, it’s the ideal place to have something special commissioned - what better way to mark an occasion? Go direct to skilled designers, silversmiths and jewellers who bring handmade bespoke wonders to life. All for less than you’d think. So forget the bland high street. Be inspired. Be exclusive.
You’ll find both traditional and modern. In fact, contemporary cool is everywhere. Cutting-edge designers making art you can wear. Turning jewels and metals into fashion.
While choosing and musing, there are over 30 restaurants and bars to refresh you - many set in the beautiful Georgian Square of St Paul's. And of course, the Quarter isn’t just about buying. It’s the experience. So there’s a number of museums and galleries (all free admission) to enjoy. Take in a rich history at the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. Or, as a growing home to the arts, enjoy our galleries - the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) gallery is a good place to start.
Come winter, the magical Christmas Fayre is a feast of carol singing at St Paul's Church with beautiful jewellery-themed Christmas lights. And great presents are so easy to find.
