Visit Black Country Living Museum this Half Term (Sat 25 May – Sun 2 June) to celebrate the bostin' things, people and products that came from the Black Country.

From filmmakers and sports heroes to internationally significant industries, meet iconic historic characters including Dudley's Dorothy Round who became a World tennis champion; film-making from Dudley to Hollywood, sci-fi director James Whale; and Thomas Newcomen, who built the world's first successful steam engine in Dudley, 1712.

Explore the new Industrial Quarter to see how industry changed from Edwardian times to the 1950s and have a go at making bricks.

Plus, get ready to protest as you make your very own banner and take part in the 1910 women chainmakers' strike.

And dow forget, 'ave a goo at the local lingo and learn 'ow to spake in the bostin' Black country dialect!

All your museum favourites am here to enjoy too - try traditional street games, take part in an Edwardian school lesson, go underground to experience life of an 1850s miner, enjoy all the fun at the historic fairground and see live metal working demonstrations.
