Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Glasshouses are thrilled to welcome back the International Garden Photographer of the Year Exhibition in 2024.

International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) continues to be one of the world's most respected photography competitions and exhibition, particularly within the genres of garden, plant, flower and botanical photography.

International Garden Photographer of the Year is wholly owned and organised by Mirror Plate Media Ltd.

Although the Competition name is 'International Garden Photographer of the Year' – IGPOTY has always embraced the word 'Garden' in its broadest definition, that is a 'Garden' could be; a back/front/balcony garden, a local park, landscapes and forests, after all – Earth is everyones' Garden.

Date: 10 May – 29 June

Location: The exhibition is situated on our West Lawn

Tickets: This exhibition is free for all visitors with a valid general admission ticket to The Gardens. General admission tickets can be booked online or on arrival at the Welcome Desk.

Accessibility: This exhibition takes place outside on the main lawn. Please speak to a member of staff before booking to discuss any access requirements. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available to hire free of charge.
