Collecting Coventry explores a catalogue of objects managed by Culture Coventry Trust, that reflect 75 years of collecting efforts.

Dating from the founding of the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in 1949 and Coventry Transport Museum in 1980, to the present day, this exhibition fills four rooms, which showcase the core themes of the collection, including Human History, Visual Art and Natural Sciences.
We explore how the museum collected in the past, how we collect today and how our approach to collecting might change in the future, to better represent the diversity of Coventry and its people.
We hope that you will contribute your views, and tell us what you think we should collect in the future, how we can represent you and your community better.
